Paradigm Proposal for the Davies Property
4131 Chain Bridge Road
Introduction
City Council will conduct a public hearing at 7 PM on July 22nd to act on a request for rezoning the Davies Property from RM Residential Medium to CU Commercial Urban; approval of a general development plan for an upper-story mixed-use building of 276 multifamily units and 10,796 square feet of retail, office or other commercial uses on the ground floor; and special exceptions on the property at 4131 Chain Bridge Road.
The Board of Architectural Review (BAR) recommended approval of the Special Exceptions and issuance of a Major Certificate of Appropriateness on June 18th. The Planning Commission voted 4-2 to recommend disapproval of the Paradigm Proposal on June 23rd.
Residents are encouraged to submit emails or to contact City Council members directly concerning your opinions on this Proposal. Residents may also speak about this topic at the City Council meeting on July 22nd.
